Marv Herzog Home On The Range

Marv Herzog's twenty-sixth recording in 1991 was recorded at the same time as It's A Small World. This album features Marv, his son Clint and guitar player Tom Darling on the vocals, featuring country songs popular years ago and today, songs such as Marv's "Have I Told You Lately That I Love You", Clint's "Margaritaville" and Tom's "Before The Next Teardrop Falls". The album cover depicts Marv in his den with 2 of his favorite things in life: playing music and hunting. He was very much at home on the range and on his hunting expeditions over the years, he got two antelope in Wyoming, two deer in northern Michigan, one deer in Arkansas, and two bear in northern California. His fishing excursions took him to Florida for sailfish (also mounted for the walls) and to Ohio for wall-eye and perch fishing (just for eating).
